“Curiosity is inherent in all of us,” according to new Member of the Order of Australia, John Hardie AM FRSN FHEA FGS.
Mr Hardie has been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for his significant service to science education and to professional societies. He is the current President of the Royal Societies of Australia and a long-time member of the Royal Society of New South Wales, his work has focused on promoting the role of professional societies in intellectual inquiry and discussion, on advancing knowledge and bridging the gap between research and the general public.
