The Royal Societies of Australia takes great pleasure in welcoming the Royal Society of Victoria to Membership of the RSA. The Council of the RSA unanimously approved its Membership at its meeting on 7 November 2024. At that meeting three members of the RSV, including its President and Vice-president, were appointed to the RSA Council. This is another milestone for learned societies in Australia.
The RSA looks forward to working with the RSV to maximise our collective impact on the acquisition and effective use of evidence-based knowledge and research in Australia. The RSV intends to continue to make contributions to the RSA’s national projects, bringing a Victorian perspective to this important work.
